Volleyball Recap: Bard Comes Up Short

Bard lost against MacArthur back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Falcons fell 2-0 to the Mammoths.

The match finished with set scores of 25-3, 25-8.

Leading MacArthur to victory were Carmen Glynn and Nahla Savoy. Glynn had 15 aces, while Savoy had nine aces. Those 15 aces gave Glynn a new career-high. Summer Thompson also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Bard's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for MacArthur, their win ended a four-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-1.

Looking ahead, Bard will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering at 7:00 p.m. As for MacArthur, they will venture away from home to square off against Maret at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
