It was a good run, but Bagdad unfortunately witnessed the end of their 12-game winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against the Phoenix Christian Cougars, falling 9-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Sultans have suffered since March 1st.

Bagdad saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zayden Sanders, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Bagdad's defeat dropped their record down to 15-2. As for Phoenix Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-2.

Bagdad didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-3 loss against Hayden on the 11th. As for Phoenix Christian, they have also already played their next game, a 14-12 win against Mogollon on the 11th.
