Soccer Game Preview: Assumption vs. Lutcher

The Assumption Mustangs are taking a road trip to challenge the Lutcher Bulldogs at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Assumption's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Assumption fell victim to Young Audiences and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 8-0 to the Yacs.

Meanwhile, neither Lutcher nor Parkview Baptist could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Lutcher's draw gives them a new season record of 2-2-3. As for Assumption, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
