Softball Recap: Lyndon Academy Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Trinity Prep

On Thursday, Lyndon Academy faced Trinity Prep in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Lyndon Academy Terriers lost 13-1 to the Trinity Prep Lions. The Terriers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Amelia Hardin was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.

Lyndon Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Trinity Prep, they moved to 1-6 with that victory, which also ended their 14-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Lyndon Academy will venture away from home to challenge Scholars Guild Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Trinity Prep, they will challenge Lyndon Academy at 4:30 p.m. on March 27th.
