Volleyball Game Preview: DuPont Manual Crimsons vs. Holy Cross Cougars

After both having extra time off, the DuPont Manual Crimsons and the Holy Cross Cougars will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

DuPont Manual took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Seneca.

Meanwhile, Holy Cross faced North Bullitt in a battle between two of the state's top teams last Saturday. The Cougars came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0. The victory was nothing new for the Cougars as they're now sitting on three straight.

Holy Cross now has a winning record of 8-7. As for DuPont Manual, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

DuPont Manual came up short against Holy Cross when the teams last played back in April, falling 3-1. Can the Crimsons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
