Basketball Recap: Clemens Comes Up Short

Clemens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They took a 54-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Canyon Cougars. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buffaloes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-38 on January 3rd.

Clemens' defeat dropped their record down to 4-24. As for Canyon, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 17-14.

Clemens will venture away from home to square off against Johnson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clemens has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Canyon, they will take on East Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Canyon is facing East Central at the right time seeing as East Central is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
