Basketball Game Preview: Quilcene Rangers vs. Pope John Paul II Eagles

The Quilcene Rangers will square off against the Pope John Paul II Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pope John Paul II took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Quilcene, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Quilcene turned things around against Forest Ridge Sacred Heart on Thursday. They snuck past the Ravens with a 33-28 victory.

Meanwhile, Pope John Paul II was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against Crosspoint Christian, falling 52-13. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 356th, while the Wildcats are ranked 156th).

Quilcene's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Pope John Paul II, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
