It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but St. Joseph Notre Dame had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the San Leandro Pirates with a sharp 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Pilots sure are getting used to it with their 14th in a row.

While St. Joseph Notre Dame won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17, 25-23.

Despite the loss, San Leandro still got an impressive performance from Paradise Saephan, who had ten digs and four assists.

St. Joseph Notre Dame's victory bumped their record up to 26-5. As for San Leandro, they moved to 17-13 with that defeat, which also ended their six-match winning streak.

Looking ahead, St. Joseph Notre Dame will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Moreau Catholic at 7:00 p.m. San Leandro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
