Montgomery County won the last time they faced Mason County and things went their way on Monday too. The Indians put the hurt on the Royals with a sharp 9-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Jordan Howard spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.
