Soccer Game Preview: Trinity Christian vs. Gramercy Christian

Trinity Christian is 1-8 against Gramercy Christian since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Tigers will take on the Warriors at 11:00 a.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Trinity Christian is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to seven goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Community Christian on Friday. They came up short against the Cyclones, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Trinity Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 233rd, while Community Christian are ranked 100th).

Meanwhile, Gramercy Christian didn't have quite enough to beat Christ Covenant on Friday and fell 3-2.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-4-1. As for Gramercy Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-4.

Everything went Trinity Christian's way against Gramercy Christian in their previous meeting back in March, as Trinity Christian made off with a 4-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
