Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Grantsburg

Grantsburg put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They managed a 69-64 win over the Unity Eagles. This was payback for the Pirates, who suffered a 53-39 loss the last time these two teams met.

Grantsburg's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Unity, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2.

Grantsburg will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bayfield at 4:00 p.m. on December 27th. As for Unity, they will head out on the road to take on Shell Lake at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Shell Lake will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Unity surely won't give up without a fight.
