Volleyball Recap: Blessed Trinity Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Alpharetta + How To Watch

Blessed Trinity faced Alpharetta in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Titans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Alpharetta scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Kailey Leonard, who had eight digs and two aces.

Blessed Trinity's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-3. As for Alpharetta, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Blessed Trinity will challenge Marietta at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alpharetta, they will take on McIntosh at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
