Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Era). They were the clear victor by a 17-6 margin over the Perrin-Whitt Pirates on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

The team relied heavily on Brady Barnes, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. He also hit a triple, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Haygen Patterson, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Era was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Perrin-Whitt only posted a batting average of .143.

Era's record is now 2-3-3. As for Perrin-Whitt, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Hornets coming up. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Muenster 4, Era 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Perrin-Whitt, they will be playing at home against Lindsay at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
