Softball Preview: Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets vs. Brawley Wildcats
For the second straight game, Palo Verde Valley will face off against Brawley. The Yellow Jackets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Palo Verde Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.
On Tuesday, Palo Verde Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Brawley and fell 6-5. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
For Brawley's part, Daniella Yescas made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits.
