Gillman Made His Presence Known in Franklin County's 41-7 Win

Starting off the list is Franklin County's Quinn Gillman, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Gillman rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 158 yards and three touchdowns. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 67 yards.

Franklin County now has a winning record of 4-3. Gillman and Franklin County will look to defend their home field on Friday against Batesville at 7:00 p.m.

Underclassman Zadiin Small came into Friday's game looking to prove himself and that's exactly what he did. He turned in nothing short of a gem on Friday, rushing for 111 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 61 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

On the season, Small has run in 5 touchdowns while averaging 87.5 rushing yards per game.

Gage Pohlman Turns in Season-Best Performance

Batesville was led to victory by Gage Pohlman, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Pohlman rushed for 65 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries, and also picked up 34 receiving yards.
