After each having a week off, the Creekview Grizzlies and the Sprayberry Yellow Jackets will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Creekview will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Last Friday, Creekview beat Woodstock 28-21.

Alex Penrod had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 187 yards and three TDs on only 17 passes, while also rushing for 68 yards and one touchdown. Those 187 passing yards gave him a new career-high.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Sprayberry, who bounced back after a loss on the road on September 12th. They really took it to Riverwood for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-0 victory. Considering the Yellow Jackets have won four contests by more than 40 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Sprayberry's win came from a few key players Creekview will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ian Hulbert, who rushed for 112 yards and one score on only seven carries. Another player making a difference was Jrue Keeling, who rushed for 84 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Sprayberry was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 354 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
The win got Creekview back to even at 3-3. As for Sprayberry, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Creekview has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 166.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Sprayberry struggles in that department as they've been averaging 251 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Creekview suffered a grim 41-21 defeat to Sprayberry when the teams last played back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Yellow Jackets' Jaden Duckett, who rushed for 96 yards and four TDs, and also threw for 200 yards and one touchdown on only 16 passes.
