Softball Recap: Beechwood Comes Up Short

Beechwood lost against Ryle back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers lost 15-4 to the Raiders. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Beechwood's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Ryle, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1-1.

Beechwood and Ryle should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Kentucky Rankings. The Tigers (ranked 113th) will meet Newport (ranked 229th) at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Ryle will face off against Conner at 5:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (43 vs. 135).
