Basketball Recap: Providence Pioneers vs. North Harrison Cougars
The home team had come away the winner the last five times Providence and North Harrison had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Pioneers put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 72-48 victory on Thursday. The Pioneers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Jayda Kempf was her usual excellent self, putting up 26 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Jamila Carrilo, who went 6-for-12 on her way to 12 points along with seven boards and three steals.
