Softball Recap: University Find Success

University's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They walked away with a 22-17 win over the Shabazz Bulldogs. The victory continues a trend for the Phoenix in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won five in a row.

The team relied heavily on Amani Ramos, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Imani Mainer, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4.

The win got University back to even at 2-2. As for Shabazz, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, University will be playing in front of their home fans against Weequahic at 4:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for Shabazz, they will challenge American History at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
