Baseball Recap: Farmville Central Gets the Win

Farmville Central won the last time they faced Roanoke Rapids and things went their way on Monday too. The Jaguars walked away with a 6-1 win over the Yellowjackets.

The team relied heavily on Chase Felton, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Skinner, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Farmville Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive contests.

Farmville Central's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Roanoke Rapids, they dropped their record down to 8-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
