Basketball Recap: Elwood Takes a Loss

Elwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Frankton Eagles, falling 53-25. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-19 back in January.

Elwood's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Frankton, their win bumped their record up to 11-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Frankton beat Elwood by a score of 53-25 on Friday.
