The Cardinal O'Hara Lions are taking a road trip to face off against the Roman Catholic Cahillite at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Cardinal O'Hara is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Cardinal O'Hara is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Conwell-Egan Catholic on Wednesday as they made off with a 14-4 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Jack Coleman made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. That stolen base marked the first that he snagged this season.

In other batting news, Cardinal O'Hara got a massive performance out of Jake Steigerwalt, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Steigerwalt also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Sean Vaughn was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Cardinal O'Hara was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .424. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Conwell-Egan Catholic only posted a batting average of .280.

Meanwhile, Roman Catholic fell victim to Archbishop Wood and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 16-0 to the Vikings. The Cahillite have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Roman Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Cardinal O'Hara, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Cardinal O'Hara took their win against Roman Catholic in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 17-10 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
