Oak Grove faced Brandon in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Warriors fell 7-2 to the Bulldogs. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Bryson Chapman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. Eric Booth Jr was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Oak Grove's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 17-5. As for Brandon, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season.
