Calvary Baptist Academy was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Legacy Academy on Saturday. Everything went the Calvary Baptist Academy Patriots' way against Legacy Academy as the Calvary Baptist Academy Patriots made off with an 87-67 victory. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 games by 20 points or more this season.

Calvary Baptist Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bryson Childers, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds. That's the most boards Childers has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Good, who shot 71% from the field on his way to 24 points and eight assists.

Calvary Baptist Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 27 assists. They racked up 14 more assists than Legacy Academy's also-impressive total of 13.

Legacy Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brandon Hill, who went 8-for-13 en route to 20 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last six games he's played. Anderson Allen was another key player, shooting 67% from the field to rack up 13 points and six assists.

Calvary Baptist Academy's win bumped their record up to 27-8. As for Legacy Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.
