Volleyball Recap: Bremen Extends Winning Streak to Four

Bremen hadn't done well against Central Noble recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Lions blew past the Cougars 3-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Lions, who have now won four contests in a row.

Bremen walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-14, 25-20, 25-19.

Teagan Feathers paced Bremen's offense, picking up ten kills. Feathers got some help from Emma Kincaid and her 15 assists. Eliana Grubbs and Sara Sahlhoff kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Despite the loss, Central Noble still got an impressive performance from Katie Forker, who had 13 digs and two aces.

Bremen's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Central Noble, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bremen will venture away from home to face off against Oregon-Davis at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Central Noble, they will challenge Fort Wayne Snider at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
