Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vincennes Rivet). They blew past the Dugger Union Bulldogs 78-43 on Saturday. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Patriots had established a 30 point advantage.

When it comes to explaining why Dugger Union lost, don't look at Landon Keasling. Despite the final result, he went 7 of 9 en route to 18 points and seven boards. The dominant performance gave Keasling a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Eads, who posted six points.

Vincennes Rivet's win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-12. As for Dugger Union, they dropped their record down to 3-12 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vincennes Rivet will venture away from home to challenge Wood Memorial at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dugger Union, they will head out to face off against Martinsville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
