Softball Recap: North Raleigh Christian Academy Comes Up Short

North Raleigh Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rocky Mount Academy Eagles.

North Raleigh Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Gardner, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Gardner is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played.

North Raleigh Christian Academy's record now sits at 4-10. As for Rocky Mount Academy, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Looking ahead, North Raleigh Christian Academy will take on Durham Academy at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cavaliers have averaged an impressive 10.8 runs per game this season. As for Rocky Mount Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Arendell Parrott Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
