Basketball Game Preview: Molina Jaguars vs. Sunset Bison

The Molina Jaguars will square off against the Sunset Bison at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Molina humbled Jefferson with a 49-17 victory.

Meanwhile, Sunset waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 47-32.

Sunset found their leader in freshman Keliah Thomas- Browne, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine steals. Thomas- Browne is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least four every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Crystyle Loera, who posted six points along with 11 rebounds and six steals.

Sunset is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a massive bump to their 20-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.6 points per game. As for Molina, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-13.
