Football Recap: East Central Skates Past South Dearborn with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Central). They blew past the South Dearborn Knights 66-6 on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Trojans, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Ethan Feldkamp had an outrageously good game as he picked up 88 receiving yards and two scores. Those two receiving touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Chase Marsh, who rushed for 26 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

East Central was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 334 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 215 rushing yards in nine consecutive games dating back to last season.

East Central didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Karson Dorsey and Mitchell Karaus.

East Central's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for South Dearborn, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Central will take on Connersville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South Dearborn, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Franklin County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
