Baseball Recap: Independence Comes Up Short

Independence fell victim to Yerba Buena and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 16-0 to the Aztec Warriors. The 76ers haven't had much luck with the Aztec Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Independence's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Yerba Buena, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

While Independence had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
