Baseball Recap: Coronado's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Coronado's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Las Vegas Wildcats on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Cougars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Coronado got a good showing from Coco Tomonari, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Tomonari has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Coronado moved to 9-16 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Las Vegas, they pushed their record up to 17-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
