Basketball Preview: Mulvane Wildcats vs. Andale Indians

Mulvane is 1-9 against the Indians since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Mulvane Wildcats will be playing at home against the Andale Indians at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Mulvane beat the Crusaders 46-41. Given Mulvane's advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 64th, while the Crusaders are ranked 221st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Aiden Mckee continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with four steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Mulvane's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Manny Myers, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds.

In what's become a running theme this season, Andale gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Winfield 64-37 at home. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Andale considering their zero-point performance the matchup before.

Mulvane has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Andale, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3-1.

Mulvane came up short against the Indians in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 51-40. Will Mulvane have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other basketball content.
