Baseball Recap: Gilman Takes a Loss

Gilman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 16-4 to the Towson Generals. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Generals this season, with their most recent loss being a 15-0 defeat on Wednesday.

Gilman's loss dropped their record down to 6-20. As for Towson, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Gilman will take on Loyola Blakefield at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Dons have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Towson, they will challenge Hereford on Monday.
