San Leandro had won three straight home games and Eric Stowe did his part to make it four on Tuesday. Everything went the San Leandro Pirates' way against the Mt. Eden Monarchs as the San Leandro Pirates made off with a 3-0 victory for which the team can thank Stowe, who had eight digs and four aces. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in aces.

San Leandro was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17, 25-20.

San Leandro's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Mt. Eden, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

San Leandro will head out to challenge Bishop O'Dowd at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Mt. Eden has already played their next contest (against Encinal), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
