Baseball Recap: Ignacio Bobcats vs. Sanford Indians

While Ignacio's victory against Sanford wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bobcats skirted past the Indians 6-4. The win was some much needed relief for the Bobcats as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Ambrose Valdez made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Valdez was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
