Recap: Russellville Indians vs. Macks Creek Pirates
It was a good run, but the Russellville Indians unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They were beaten by Macks Creek 65-35. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Russellville came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked second, while Macks Creek is ranked 46th).
Macks Creek's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was India Willis, who scored 22 points along with 7 steals. The game was Willis' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Ratliff, who scored 20 points.
Russellville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Macks Creek, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.
Russellville will head out on the road to face off against Stover at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Macks Creek's road trip will continue as they head out to face Osage at 6:00 p.m. on December 2nd.
