Softball Game Preview: Roseville Panthers vs. Lamphere Rams

The Roseville Panthers will face off against the Lamphere Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Roseville comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Roseville managed to slip by Center Line the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Roseville came up short against Center Line on Wednesday, falling 11-5.

Lyla Davis led a balanced group of hitters, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Makayla Roth, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Meanwhile, Lamphere fell victim to Mott and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to the Marauders. Having soared to a lofty 22 runs in the game before, the Rams' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Lamphere has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Roseville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-14.
