Baseball Recap: Delcastle Technical Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Delcastle Technical duked it out with St. Andrew on Friday. The Cougars lost 14-3 to the Cardinals. The Cougars were not able to make up for their loss to the Cardinals from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Delcastle Technical saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emerson Zavala-Castro, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. That hit was Zavala-Castro's first of the season.

Delcastle Technical's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for St. Andrew's, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

While Delcastle Technical had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
