Basketball Recap: Landry Comes Up Short

Landry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 51-16 defeat at the hands of the De La Salle Cavalier. The match marked the Buccaneers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Landry's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for De La Salle, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.

Landry will challenge Wright at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Wright's defense has only allowed 26.4 points per game this season, so Landry's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for De La Salle, they are taking a road trip to challenge Slidell at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Slidell will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something De La Salle surely won't give up without a fight.
