Basketball Recap: Laramie Glathar's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer over Lourdes Central Catholic

After flying high against Lewiston last Tuesday, Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer came back down to earth. The Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer Titans took a 54-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lourdes Central Catholic Knights. The Titans were not able to make up for their loss to the Knights from their previous meeting back in January.

Several Titans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Laramie Glathar, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 boards. With that strong performance, Glathar is now averaging an impressive 8.5 boards per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Elie Bstandig, who went 6 of 9 on her way to 13 points and seven rebounds.

Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lourdes Central Catholic, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer will take on Freeman in a holiday battle at on Tuesday. Freeman will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lourdes Central Catholic, they will welcome Pawnee City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
