Volleyball Recap: Cornerstone Christian Takes a Loss

Cornerstone Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Roanoke-Benson Rockets. The Cyclones were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rockets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-12.

Cornerstone Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-21. As for Roanoke-Benson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-19-1.

Coming up, Cornerstone Christian will welcome Calvary Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Roanoke-Benson, they will venture away from home to challenge Ridgeview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
