Foshay had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 41 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They breezed by the Hawkins Hawks to the tune of 53-25. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

Foshay had a senior duo take command as Kelis Jones posted 17 points and Aunisha Clark put up 14 points.

Foshay is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.6 points per game. As for Hawkins, they moved to 8-4 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Foshay and Hawkins' offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Foshay will take on Larchmont Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, a squad that's only allowed 27.75 points per game. Both have allowed few points on average, (Foshay: 26.1, Hawkins: 28.6) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Hawkins and Locke (who has only given up 27.89 points per game) will meet at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
