Dixie Heights came tearing into Saturday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 57-44 victory over the Ryle Raiders. Given the Colonels' advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 14th, while the Raiders are ranked 79th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, Ryle still got an impressive performance from Jaelyn Jones, who posted 18 points and seven rebounds. Jayden (Jay) Mcclain was another key player, putting up ten points along with eight boards and three blocks.

Dixie Heights is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points per game.
