Soccer Recap: Aquinas Takes a Loss

Aquinas lost against Woodcrest Christian back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Aquinas Falcons fell just short of the Woodcrest Christian Royals by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1030th, while the Royals are ranked 361st).

Aquinas is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8-1. As for Woodcrest Christian, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aquinas will welcome Linfield Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 14th. As for Woodcrest Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Loma Linda Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
