Ashton Sumrall Delivers Best Effort of Season
Ashton Sumrall produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Bridge City to the win on Friday. Sumrall's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 110 rushing yards. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 53 yards.
The victory for Bridge City keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Cardinals challenges Livingston at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Bryce Breeden Delivers Electric Effort Vs Hardin-Jefferson
Bridge City picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Bryce Breeden. Breeden turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up two sacks and making seven total tackles (3.0 for loss). He is on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made seven or more in the last seven games he's played dating back to last season.
On the season, Breeden has averaged 10 total tackles per game and for the season has 5 sacks.

Lumberton's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Chase Williams
Thanks in part to Chase Williams, Lumberton said goodbye to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season. On Friday Williams rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August of 2023.
Lumberton's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. They and Vidor are set to duel on Friday.
