Basketball Recap: West Rusk Comes Up Short

West Rusk suffered their biggest loss since January 9, 2024 on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Tatum Eagles 82-28. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 937th, while the Eagles are ranked 328th).

Even though they lost, West Rusk smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive contests.
