Basketball Game Preview: North Olmsted Eagles vs. Maple Heights Mustangs

The North Olmsted Eagles will take on the Maple Heights Mustangs in a tournament on Saturday. North Olmsted is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

North Olmsted is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Lakewood on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. North Olmsted had to suffer through a 50-16 loss at the hands of Lakewood. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

The losing side was boosted by Katie Strong, who posted four points and three blocks.

Meanwhile, Maple Heights ended up a good deal behind Garrett Morgan on Monday and lost 49-34. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Olmsted's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Maple Heights, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
