Volleyball Game Preview: Grand Junction Tigers vs. Montrose Red Hawks + How To Watch

Grand Junction hasn't had much luck against Montrose recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Tigers will host the Red Hawks at 6:00 p.m. Montrose took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Grand Junction, who comes in off a win.

Grand Junction not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 26th (when they won 3-0). They blew past Moffat County 3-0.

Grand Junction's got stronger as the match went on, holding Moffat County to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-10, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Montrose came up short against Fruita Monument on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The loss was the Red Hawks' first of the season.

While Montrose ultimately came up short, they really made Fruita Monument work, particularly in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-22, 23-25, 25-16, 28-26.

Grand Junction pushed their record up to 8-12 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Montrose, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 17-1.
