Basketball Recap: Fontainebleau Bulldogs vs. Slidell Tigers
Fontainebleau lost against Slidell two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Fontainebleau Bulldogs took a 50-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Slidell Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Tigers are ranked 19th).
Despite the loss, Fontainebleau still got an impressive performance from Leila Neal, who went 5 for 8 en route to 10 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Neal is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games she's played. Trinity Crockett was another key player, putting up six points and ten boards.
