Basketball Recap: CORE Butte Comes Up Short

CORE Butte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Paradise Bobcats 63-19. The matchup marked the Lynx's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

CORE Butte's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Paradise, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

CORE Butte will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Oroville at 8:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025. Paradise will take on Hayfork in a holiday battle at at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
